FREE MEALS FOR ALL SYLVAN UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS

We are pleased to announce that the Sylvan Union School District is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch Program for 2024/2025 school year.  All students enrolled in Sylvan Union School District will receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch through the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program at NO CHARGE. 

School Funding Form

Although parents and guardians no longer need to complete a Free/Reduced Meal application the district is requesting that you complete the attached School Funding Form. The financial information you provide on the School Funding Form will be confidential and will only be used to help determine the funding that each school receives from the state government. The financial information you provide by completing and returning the School Funding Form will have a direct impact on the funding that your student’s school receives from the state government. The School Funding Form is used by the schools to capture financial information that will ensure your students school receives all of the funding it is entitled to receive for state educational programs. The information you provide will not affect your student’s ability to continue receiving free meals. Your assistance in helping us maintain our current funding levels is greatly appreciated.

Sunbucks Universal Benefits Application (UBA)

Completing a Universal Benefits Application may qualify your child for benefits such as SUN Bucks, internet access, school transportation, and more. Completing this application will not impact your student’s ability to receive school meals at no cost. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services do not consider health, food, and housing services as part of the public charge determination. Therefore, submitting this application will not hurt an individual’s immigration status.
